On Saturday, the Court of First Instance of the Somali Armed Forces sentenced former military officer Daud Bashir Adow to death for the deliberate killing of Said Abdi Musa.
The incident occurred in December 2024 in a barber shop, where an argument over who would get their hair cut first led Daud Bashir to shoot Said Abdi Musa in the head.
Hassan Ali Nur Shute, chairman of the Somali National Armed Forces military court, confirmed the incident took place in Mogadishu’s Dharkenley district.
