Feyenoord has enhanced its youth setup by acquiring 15-year-old Dutch youth international Nuuradiin Mahamud from PSV. The talented left-back, who signed a contract until mid-2027, will join Feyenoord’s Under-17 team for the upcoming season.
Mahamud, who began his career with SV Batavia ’90 in Lelystad and then progressed through Ajax’s youth system before joining PSV for the 2023/24 season, expressed his excitement about the move. “I love winning matches and will always give my utmost,” he said. “I hope to further develop myself at the club and look to the future with great confidence.”
Mahamud debuted as a youth international with the Netherlands U-15 team last season. The transfer fee for his move to Feyenoord has not been disclosed, but his previous move to PSV was for €105,000.
Feyenoord’s Director of Football, Mark Koevermans, stated, “We are thrilled to have Nuuradiin join us. His potential and dedication align perfectly with our vision for the club’s future.” Mahamud is expected to strengthen Feyenoord’s youth teams and potentially earn future first-team opportunities, continuing Feyenoord’s tradition of developing young talent.
