President of Somalia Voices Disapproval of Moscow Terror Attack

Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud strongly denounced the terrorist attack that claimed the lives of at least 60 individuals and left over 100 wounded at a concert hall in Moscow on Friday.

In a statement issued by the Somali government on Friday, the President conveyed his deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and all affected by the tragic event. He also expressed sincere sympathy to President Vladimir Putin and the people of Russia during this period of mourning.

The Somali government reiterated its solidarity with the Russian people during this challenging time and categorically condemned all acts of violence and terrorism.

Gunmen opened fire on concert attendees on Friday, resulting in the deaths of at least 60 individuals and injuries to 145 others. The attack, which was claimed by the Daesh/ISIS terror group, occurred as the rock band Picnic was preparing to perform at the Crocus City Hall just west of Moscow.
