The State of Qatar took part in the Sixth meeting of the quint group on Somalia, which was held today in London. The meeting included representatives from the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, Turkiye, and Somalia.
HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Faisal bin Abdullah Al Hanzab, led Qatar’s delegation to the meeting.
The participants discussed the current security and political situation in Somalia and explored ways to coordinate their efforts.
During the meeting, HE Special Envoy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of strengthening efforts to support Somalia’s security, stability, unity, and sovereignty over its entire territory.
