Somali NGO Consortium Holds Quarterly Meeting to Address Collaboration Challenges

Today, the Somali NGO Consortium had its quarterly meeting. This group includes government officials and local NGOs. The meeting was led by the Somali NATO Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA). They talked about a big challenge they’re all facing and how they can work together to solve it.

Mohamed Muktar, an expert in information management from SoDMA, shared information about what the government and different organizations are doing. He talked about how SoDMA is working with local and international groups.

Hassan Isse, the Director of the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC), and Abdikadir Mohamed Ahmed, the Deputy Director of the Somali NGO Consortium, decided to organize a conference. They want to talk about how NGOs can register properly, get tax exemptions, and work together better.
